LTA tutors inspire and train the next generation of tennis coaches. The requirements to become an LTA tutor are: Level 4 coaching qualification (SCC/SPC or former equivalent). Be an LTA Accredited+ coach. Successful completion of the Coach Tutor Qualification (CTQ) course.
In addition to a teaching professional pathway, you can complement a four-year bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Professional Tennis Management at select colleges across the country. In addition, graduate degree opportunities and continuing education programs are available, leading to jobs in business, marketing, technology and facility management.
Level 3 – Coach qualification: This certification is for coaches who are serious about their career and are looking to coach private and groups lessons on a full-time basis. Level 4. Senior club coach qualification: Designed to train coaches who will either work as club assistant tennis directors, head pros or have a managing position at a club.
The ATPCA Graduate Tennis Pro Qualification Course is the ultimate practical on-court qualification for the tennis enthusiast and/or aspiring tennis professional. Whether you have no prior coaching experience and/or you are looking to up skill your current coaching knowledge and skill, the Graduate Tennis Pro Qualification Course is the perfect opportunity for you to ignite your accreditation journey.
Club Professional. The Club Professional qualification prepares coaches to become head coaching professionals at tennis clubs and centres. The Master Club Professional qualification is designed to provide coaches with a competitive advantage in dealing with issues related to managing tennis businesses or facilities.
The LTA is responsible for the provision of padel CPD and qualifications in the UK and we are delighted to offer our first CPD course - Introduction to padel coaching. The course is positioned as an entry level padel award and is our first training offer that we are making available since padel was integrated into the LTA.
Coaches with a background that includes academic work (degrees, diplomas, and certificates), professional development experiences, coaching qualifications and credentials (ITF Level One or Equivalent minimum), and experience in teaching and facilitation will be considered for selection as a Coach Developer.
